People without whom Confluence wouldn’t be Confluence
Confluence expresses its deepest gratitude towards its patron Dr. Mohan Gaikwad, Chairman of the Gaikwad-Patil Group, for his initiative and financial assistance in holding this Annual International Conference on Teaching and Learning English. Organizing something on this scale would not have been possible without his support.
We are also thankful to President of the Gaikwad-Patil Group of Institutions, Mr. Sharad Patil, himself a former Professor of English, for his expertise and his personal involvement in the event.
We would like to thank Dr. G. Rajagopal, Dean of The English and Foreign Languages University, Hyderabad, for being a guiding light as our Advisor, and for being there for us at every little step. With his continued help, we would like to see Confluence grow in stature.
We are also immensely grateful to Dr. Anne Burns, Professor at the University of Sydney and Member of TESOL Research Standing Committee, for agreeing to be on our Advisory Board. She has been very kind in routinely taking the time to answer our incessant queries and her inputs have been extremely valuable to us.
We would also like to extend our gratitude to Rehab Rajab and Melanie Gobert of TESOL Arabia for helping with their organization’s affiliation to EngQuest International.
Thanks also to all other members of our Advisory Board as well as members of the Editorial Board, whose services are indeed invaluable to Confluence.
Our extremely learned keynote speakers have lent a dignity to Confluence with their expertise. We thank them for being here and hope that this is only the beginning of a long and fruitful association with them.
Many learned experts who could not be physically present at Confluence sent us goodwill messages. We are grateful to them too, and hope to see them here some time soon.
We are similarly thankful to Principal Dr. G.K. Awari of Tulsiramji Gaikwad-Patil College of Engineering and Technology for the generous use of the facilities of his college.
The staff of both these colleges, across faculties, has contributed towards organizing Confluence every year. The Confluence team expresses their gratitude towards them as well.
Our student volunteers have also been instrumental in making our lives that much easier by doing all the running around as only they can. We thank them for their efforts.
This section would be incomplete if we did not thank our contributors. Our deep gratitude towards all contributors from around the globe for making Confluence an ever-growing success.
